When I wrote this about the left-wing slate of candidates in Regina and Saskatoon I knew that the CCFR and their like in Saskatoon had no chance. I couldn't fathom the degree to which the left got spanked though.

Jim Holmes of the CCFR in a two way race in Regina got about 15% of the vote. Derek and Maturia seem to sum it up nicely. Update: See also Crocodile Morsels and I Heart Regina.

Odd, no word from Chad Moats this morning.
Update: Chad does respond. And, if I may say so, more civilised then my gloating.

In Saskatoon, right of centre incumbent Don Atchison took about 60% in a six way race for Mayor. Poor Lenore. Her 22% just wasn't enough.

All in all, it's a good day.
